Wang Mingming

Wang Mingming, a native of Penglai, Shandong Province, was born in May 1952. He has no party affiliation. He is a well-known painter, a National-level Artist, and President of Beijing Fine Art Academy. Formerly, he was Deputy Director of the Counsellor’s Office of the State Council, a counsellor of the State Council, and Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture. He also serves as Vice President of China Artists Association, President of Beijing Municipal Artists Association, and Vice President of Beijing Federation of Literary and Arts Circles. He was a member of the Standing Committee of the 12th CPPCC National Committee.
