Wang Weimin

Vice Chairman of Counsellors' Office of the State Council

A native of Guyuan, Ningxia Autonomous Region, Wang Weimin was born in May 1965. He is a member of the CPC. He graduated from the Sociology Department of Peking University in 1990. He has a master’s degree. His previous positions include Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Investment Projects Management Center of the State Council Leading Group of Poverty Alleviation and Development and Director-General of the Counsellor-Service Department of the COSC. He has been Vice Chairman of the COSC and Member of the COSC Party Group since August 2011.
