Feng Yuan

Vice President of China Central Institute for Culture and History

Feng Yuan, a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was born in January 1952. He is a member of the CPC. His prior positions include Vice President of the China Academy of Art, Director-General of the Department of Education, Science and Technology of the Ministry of Culture, Director-General of the Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture, President of the National Art Museum of China, and Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He is now Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Vice Chairman of the China Artists Association. He became Vice President of the CCICH in August 2012. He has been a deputy to the 11th and 12th CPPCC National Committee.
