Wang Yongyan

Wang Yongyan, a native of Tianjin, was born in September 1938. He is a reputed authority on traditional Chinese medicine. He is a CPC member, Honorary President and Chairman of the Academic Committee of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He used to be President of the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and President, Professor and tutor of Ph.D. students of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. He was engaged as a researcher of the CCICH in June 2012.
