Wu Jiang

Wu Jiang, a native of Suizhong, Liaoning Province, was born in April 1949. He is a first-class playwright with no party affiliation. He is Vice President of the Ethnic Minorities Theatre Society of China. He used to be President of the China National Peking Opera Company and Deputy Director-General of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture. He is a famous Peking Opera artist and playwright and a member of the Standing Committee of the 12th CPPCC National Committee. He was engaged as a researcher of the CCICH in February 2015.
