Jin Shangyi

Jin Shangyi was born in December 1924. Member of the Communist Party of China. He is the Director of the Academic Committee, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Central Academy of Fine Arts. He was the President of China Artists Association, Standing Member of the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Congress (CPPCC), Vice President of the Painting and Calligraphy Academy of China Central Institute for Culture and History (CCICH). He was engaged as a researcher of the CCICH in November 2007 and became a Senior Researcher in January 2017.
