Feng Qiyong

Feng Qiyong, a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was born in February 1924. He is a renowned scholar on the study of A Dream of Red Mansions, historian, calligrapher and painter. He is a CPC member. He serves as a tenured researcher of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, Honorary President of the National Museum of Chinese Writing, Honorary Director of the School of Chinese Classics of the Renmin University of China, Honorary President of the Chinese Society of A Dream of Red Mansions and Advisor to the Dunhuang Turpan Society of China. He used to be Vice President of the Chinese National Academy of Arts. He was engaged as a researcher of the CCICH in February 2015.
