Ge Jianping

Ge Jianping, a native of Minle, Gansu Province, was born in June 1962. He is a professor at Beijing Normal University, Chief of Northeast Tiger and Leopard Biodiversity National Observation and Research Station. He was former deputy chairperson of China Democratic League. He was former vice president of Beijing Normal University, member of the Standing Committee of the 11th and 12th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, winner of third prize of National Award for Science and Technology Progress. He is a recipient of government special allowances, veteran scholar in biodiversity research and protection. He was engaged as a Counsellor of the State Council in July 2020.
