COSC Delegation Visits Poland and Uzbekistan

   From December 15 to 20, 2025, Chang Jile, Counsellor of the State Council, led a delegation to Poland and Uzbekistan. The trip aimed to conduct research on regional cooperation,and promote cultural exchanges and inter-civilization mutual learning amongBelt and Road countries. Joining the delegation were fellow COSC counsellors Zhen Zhen and Li Wu.

  

  Meeting with the Civic Association "Dom Polski"

  

   While in Poland, the delegation held talks with the Sobieski Institute, the Polish Institute of International Affairs, the Faculty of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University, and the Civic Association "Dom Polski". While in Uzbekistan, they held discussions with the Center for Economic Research and Reforms and the Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Studies. They also participated in aroundtable titled "Uzbek-Chinese Dialogue: A Model of Cooperation and Joint Development"hosted by the Center for Foreign Policy Studies and International Initiatives (CFPSII), and paid a visit to the General Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Samarkand Region.

   The delegation introduced the proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan adopted at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. They also shared China’s policy commitments to expanding opening-up and pursuingwin-win outcomes, as well as progress onBelt and Road cooperation, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Development Initiative, and the AI+ International Cooperation Initiative.

   The two sides exchanged views on China-Poland and China-Europe relations, as well as China-Uzbekistan and China-Central Asia relations. They also heldin-depth discussions andsharedideason pragmaticcooperation infields includingmedicalandhealthcareservices, education and people-to-people exchanges, legislationand the rule of law, and agriculture and rural development.

  

  Participationin a Roundtable Hosted by the Center for Foreign Policy Studies and International Initiatives of Uzbekistan

  

   During the visit, Lu Shan, Chinese Ambassador to Poland, and Yu Jun, Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, met with the delegation respectively.
