Hua Chunying, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on June 17th that President Xi Jinping will chair the 14th BRICS Summit in Beijing on June 23, which will be held online under the theme “Foster High-quality BRICS Partnership, Usher in a New Era for Global Development”.

On June 24th, President Xi Jinping will chair in Beijing the High-level Dialogue on Global Development in Beijing via video link under the theme “Foster a Global Development Partnership for the New Era to Jointly Implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” BRICS and EMDC leaders will attend the dialogue.

President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the BRICS Business Forum in virtual format and deliver a keynote address on June 22nd.
