From 9 to 16 December 2018, a COSC Delegation led by Zhao Bing, Vice Chairman of the COSC, paid a visit to Poland and Hungary. Members of the delegation included Lliu Yanhua, Counsellor of the State Council, and Wang Jing, Deputy Director-General of the International Exchanges and Cooperation Department of the COSC.
In Poland, they attended the 24th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 24) to the UNFCCC and held a side event together with the World Resources Institute on “global climate cooperation and action”. They also visited the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Sobieski Institute, where they had talks on cooperation under the BRI and think tank engagement.
